WHAT

A Beautiful Home replaces a "subdivision style" house of the 80's

WHERE

Wolfeboro, New Hampshire

As a dated home built in the 1980's, this house had a bad layout and was not of very good construction quality. And while it has utlizied the footprint of the long agao cottage (right ot the shorefront), it was not what was best for the site.

The decision was to take down the old house but in rebuilding the new home, moving back off of the water by almost 65 feet. The benifits in doing this were incredible!

  • The new house was angled differently, creating an improved and exceptional view down the lake.

  • Better utilizing the grades, we were able to create a walkout lower level; this and using dormers on the upper floor achieved keeping the overall mass of the house in scale.
